Bilingual Spanish/English - Technology Support Representative

Join Farm Health Guardian's expanding customer support team. We are seeking a solution-oriented technology support representative who enjoys working with leading edge hardware and software technology and supporting our growing agriculture customer base in North America (Canada, United States, Mexico).

Technology Support Rep Overview

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess a high level of energy, be fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English, and ideally also have pork industry experience. Responsibilities related to the role include managing system installation, onboarding new customers, and training of pork producer customers in the office and the barn. This role is a perfect fit for you if you thrive in a fast-paced work environment and you take pride in providing a high level of customer service.

• Location: Guelph, Ontario - opportunity to be homed base for 2 days per week
• Status: 12-month contract
• Salary: Competitive salary (based on experience)
• Travel: Expected to be 15% of time travelling in Canada and the Mid-West US

What you'll be doing:

• Coordinating new customer on-boarding with virtual and in-person training sessions and setting up the customer's biosecurity protocols in the software.
• Providing strong customer support and troubleshooting for software, mobile app and hardware issues both proactively and when requested by users (using email, text, phone).
• Building strong customer relationships and ensuring our customers have success with the technology through ongoing customer support, creating weekly insights reports and quarterly business review meetings.
• Developing Spanish training materials to support customer success (such as training videos, user documentation, weekly update reports,).

Who we're looking for:

• Verbal and written fluency in Spanish and English
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in the agriculture sector or in software customer support
• Demonstrated ability to use software and learn new digital technologies quickly
• Strong verbal & written communication skills and attention to detail

The perfect candidate would also meet some of the following criteria:

• An understanding of livestock production and biosecurity fundamentals
• Experience with hardware and/or software support roles
• Proven ability to work independently and as a team members in a fast paced environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in agriculture sector or software customer support
• Minimum College Diploma in agriculture or business-related areas.
