How you’ll make an impact 

 

Use your expertise in full-cycle recruitment and talent assessment to help hiring managers attract and select the right people to support long-term business goals. Assigned to a specific business line,?you’ll?gain an?understanding of business?strategy, translating?insight into thoughtful and timely recruitment solutions.  

 

As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you’ll be the go-to expert across the recruitment process, coaching leaders on effective assessment practices, and ensure a positive, compliant and inclusive candidate experience. If you’re a strong communicator with sound judgment who enjoys building relationships and delivering quality hiring outcomes, this role could be a great fit for you. 

 

What you’ll do 

  • Provide subject matter expertise to hiring managers throughout the recruitment and selection process 
  • Meet with hiring managers to understand business needs and align hiring strategies to meet their current and future needs
  • Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies in partnership with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners 
  • Review applications and assess candidate skills and fit against role requirements 
  • Prepare and support the use of assessment tools aligned to role needs 
  • Coach and support hiring managers during interviews and selection activities 
  • Coordinate reference checks and discussions related to offers 
  • Leverage technology and tools to balance speed, efficiency, and an exceptional manager and candidate experience 
  • Identify opportunities to improve the recruitment process, enhancing efficiency and quality without compromising the manager or candidate experience 
  • Ensure recruitment activities comply with employment law, Official Languages and Human Rights legislation 
  • Track and report on hiring outcomes using established recruitment metrics 
  • Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment partners and talent networks 

 

What you’ll bring to the team 

Required qualifications 

  • A degree in Business Administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • At least four years of recruiting experience or in a HR generalist capacity 
  • Strong judgment and proven ability in candidate assessment and selection 
  • Experience developing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external partners 
  • Effective listening, verbal, and written communication skills 
  • Working knowledge of HR programs, policies, and recruitment best practices 
  • Familiarity with digital platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Microsoft 365)?? 

 

Preferred qualifications 

  • Experience supporting bilingual or linguistically designated positions is an asset 
  • Proficiency with recruitment platforms (e.g., Workday, HiredScore)??
