How you’ll make an impact
- As a Senior Information Specialist, you’ll help keep FCC’s information, data, and technology assets safe and secure. With a focus on cybersecurity and technology risk, you’ll guide teams across the organization in managing risk in a way that’s practical, effective and aligned with our business needs.
- You’ll collaborate with business and technology partners to strengthen cybersecurity policies and governance practices, while mentoring others and building strong organizational capability in secure and responsible technology use.

What you’ll do
- Lead the development and maintenance of enterprise cybersecurity and technology policies and standards
- Support consistent application of cybersecurity policies and standards across teams and initiatives
- Establish processes to monitor regulatory changes, industry trends and emerging cybersecurity risks
- Develop and deliver change management, communication and training materials
- Act as an informal mentor and coach to team members
What you’ll bring to the team
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, commerce, business administration or a related field
- Minimum five years of progressive experience in cybersecurity or IT risk
- Experience with NIST, ISO 27001 or similar frameworks
- Proven experience developing and implementing policies and governance processes
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Preferred qualifications:
- A recognized cybersecurity, information security or information risk management certification (such as CISSP, CISM or CRISC)
- Experience developing or supporting policies, standards or governance practices related to information management, data management, privacy or other enterprise policy domains
- Experience interpreting and applying enterprise policies or standards to support practical risk management and decision-making
