Strategic pension and benefits expertise needed
Help manage and oversee FCC’s pension plans and retirement programs, providing strategic support, communication and education for employees. You'll manage both DC and DB pension plans, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and act as the main point of contact for pension-related inquiries. You'll develop and implement communication and education strategies, lead the administration of the executive perquisite program, and manage FCC’s employee relocation program. You'll provide strategic support to the Director, Total Rewards, and act as a subject matter expert on FCC’s wellness programs.
This position is designated bilingual. We encourage all candidates to submit their application, regardless of whether they believe they meet the linguistic requirements of the position. Qualified candidates will complete a language evaluation in their second official language and if necessary, be supported with language training.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee the administration of FCC Defined Benefit (DB) and Defined Contribution (DC) pension plans
- Develop and implement strategies and programs to educate employees about retirement benefits
- Research best-practice retirement savings as well as financial wellness strategies
- Act as the main contact for the executive benefit or pension questions, administering the executive perquisite plan and addressing inquiries
- Lead and manage the corporate employee relocation program
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate policy exceptions and resolve escalated situations
- Support strategy implementation for benefits, pension and health and wellness programs
- Assist the Director of Total Rewards in developing strategies, reports, and presentations, providing insights on benefits and wellness programs.

What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in administration and/or Human Resources Management and at least four years of benefits experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Designations such as a Certified Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or Pension Plan Administrator Certificate (PPAC) would be an asset.
- Strong knowledge of pension and saving programs as well as employee benefits, including regulations and legislation
