Professional appraisal designation rewarded:
Be part of our national valuation team and help mitigate credit risk by estimating security values for large, complex commercial and industrial properties. You'll work closely with partners from FCC lending, loan administration and special credit teams.
 

This position is designated bilingual (English and French), and the successful candidate must be able to communicate in both of Canada's official languages.

What you'll do:

• Appraise commercial and industrial real and personal properties
• Develop strategies for specific appraisal situations
• Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including appraisal professionals
• Develop and update valuation processes
• Provide formal valuation training and coaching to colleagues

What you'll need:

• Professional appraisal designation
• Experience performing complex commercial property appraisals
• Knowledge of environmental issues and trends
• Understanding of leading-edge technologies
• In-depth knowledge of appraisal principles and theories
