How you’ll make an impact 

As Loan Operations Manager, you’ll provide strategic leadership to a team of specialists and analysts across Canada who oversee loan administration and risk management practices, policies and systems.  

 

You’ll guide and mentor your team in collaborating with key stakeholders and optimizing processes, systems and technical enhancements across loan operations.?Your role also includes building partnerships and strengthening relationships with partners across FCC, and collaborating closely with the Loan Operations leadership team to ensure consistency, share insights and contribute to enterprise-wide continuous improvement.

What you’ll do 

  • Manage centralized national Loan Operations services 
  • Lead a dynamic team of specialists and analysts, providing direction and guidance 
  • Lead the development and enhancement of Loan Operations tools, including developing new processes and effectively managing change 
  • Partner with other business units to ensure Loan Operations tools and processes work seamlessly with their equivalents 
  • Monitor performance standards and quality control 
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of Loan Operations 

 

What you’ll bring to the team

Required qualifications: 

  • A bachelor’s degree in administration or business    
  • Minimum of six years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) 
  • Experience in a financial institution or in lending solutions 
  • Leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring and developing team members to improve performance or achieve measurable results – and experience in managing change 
  • Extensive experience building processes and defining technical solutions 
  • In-depth knowledge of loan processing policies, processes and procedures, and an understanding of financial services 
  • Advanced proficiency in both offical languages (English and French)
