Transactional experience required
Assist with the review and preparation of complex legal documents relating to large credit facilities.

This position is designated bilingual (English and French), and the successful candidate must be able to communicate in both of Canada’s official languages.

What you’ll do: 

• Assist FCC internal legal counsel in the completion of loan transactions 
• Draft solicitor’s instructions and liase with FCC’s external counsel regarding loan transactions 
• Review and analyze loan documentation prepared by external solicitors to ensure it conforms to terms of loan approval   
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders regarding loan transactions 
• Ensure that internal loan processes are followed 
• Provide administrative support for the internal organization and tracking of loans

What you’ll need: 

• A diploma or certificate in business administration or in Law Clerk/Paralegal and at least three years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) 
• Practical experience as a legal assistant or paralegal, or in loan security and disbursement administration
