Women in Agribusiness adds four new advisory board members, strengthening leadership, industry knowledge, and strategic direction across key agriculture sectors including communications, economics, governance, and leadership development programs.

Women in Agribusiness has expanded its Advisory Board by appointing four new members, increasing the total to 12. This update strengthens the organization’s leadership by bringing in professionals with experience in communications, economics, leadership development, and cooperative governance. The new members represent a wide range of agribusiness sectors and help guide future strategy and growth.
 

Kathy Eichlin joins Syngenta North America. She serves as Head of Corporate and Crop Protection Communications. In this role, she manages external communication, employee relations, and crisis communication. She is also part of the Ragan Communications Leadership Council and has received recognition as Woman of the Year. Her education includes a bachelor’s degree in public relations and advertising and a master’s degree in organizational communication, along with leadership training from Georgetown University.

 

Jacqui Fatka joins CoBank as Lead Economist in the Knowledge Exchange division. She studies agricultural trends in farm supply and biofuels markets. Before joining CoBank, she worked as an agriculture journalist for Feedstuffs, Farm Futures, and Agri-Pulse. Her background in communication and research helps bring valuable market insights to the board.
 

Amanda Martin represents the Illinois Agricultural Leadership Foundation. She serves as CEO and President and leads leadership development programs focused on agriculture, food systems, and rural communities. She holds a Ph.D. in educational leadership and has worked with major institutions such as Louisiana State University, Auburn University, the American Egg Board, and Farm Foundation.
 

Jen Tonder joins Land OLakes as Director of Member Governance and Shared Services. She leads corporate governance, member leadership programs, and system development. She also plays an important role in rural broadband expansion through the American Connection Project.
 

These four leaders bring strong knowledge and experience to the Advisory Board. Their combined expertise helps support the organization’s mission to strengthen leadership, encourage collaboration, and promote growth in the agriculture industry.
