The Wisconsin Cattlemen’s Association opens applications for its 2026 scholarship program to support students who plan to build careers in agriculture. The organization offers five scholarships of $1,000 each to Wisconsin high school seniors who show interest in the beef, veal, or dairy industries.
This program supports students who live in Wisconsin and plan to continue their education after high school. Eligible students may enroll or plan to enroll in a university, technical college, community college, or the Farm and Industry Short Course program. The association gives preference to students who choose agriculture-related majors or attend schools located in Wisconsin.
The scholarship program encourages young people to stay connected to farming and livestock careers. Students who receive the award are invited to attend the Wisconsin Cattlemen’s Association Summer Tour in June 2026. This event includes tours of beef-related businesses and an awards program. It also allows scholarship winners to meet producers, industry leaders, and other students who share similar goals.
To apply, students must complete a scholarship application and write an essay that explains their interest in agriculture. Applicants also need to submit two letters of recommendation and a verification form from their high school office. These documents may be mailed to the Wisconsin Cattlemen’s Association Office at 957 Liberty Drive, Suite 201, Verona, WI 53593. Students may also email their completed materials to info@wisconsincattlemen.com.
Applications are accepted through February 27, 2026. The association recommends that students prepare their materials early to make sure all required forms are completed correctly.
The Wisconsin Cattlemen’s Association works to support cattle producers, promote responsible livestock care, and encourage education in agriculture. By offering these scholarships, the organization helps students take their first steps toward careers that support food production, animal care, and farm business management.
More details about the scholarship program, application forms, and program rules are available on the Wisconsin Cattlemen’s Association website.
