The Ohio Farm Bureau invites its members to join the 2026 Winter Leadership Experience, themed Harvesting New Horizons, taking place January 23–24 at the Cherry Valley Hotel in Newark, Ohio.
The annual event offers young agricultural professionals an opportunity to grow their leadership skills, network with peers, and explore new ideas that will advance their careers and communities.
Over 400 Young Ag Professional (YAP) members from across Ohio are expected to attend this two-day event filled with workshops, breakout sessions, and keynote speakers designed to inspire future ag leaders.
Participants will engage in bold discussions, hands-on learning, and networking experiences that focus on building stronger farms, businesses, and leadership qualities.
The Marion County Farm Bureau is offering scholarship support by reimbursing up to $500 in partial registration fees for attendees who contact the county office before the event. Registration is available online, and interested members can confirm attendance by emailing marion@ofbf.org or calling 419.747.7488.
Early bird registration is set at $150 per person through December 17, while standard registration runs from December 18 to January 6 for $175. Participants must secure their own hotel rooms, but discounted accommodations are available through January 5.
This year’s event introduces a new on-site childcare service, provided by Sitting Made Simple, whose sitters are CPR and first-aid certified. The childcare room will remain open throughout all general sessions, networking events, and evening entertainment.
The conference also features the Future YAP Club for children in grades K–6, fun tours, and an engaging lineup of speakers and activities.
Farm Bureau encourages participants to “explore ag innovation, network with mentors and peers, and discover fresh opportunities in agribusiness.” Whether expanding a family farm or starting a new venture, this experience helps members “sow the seeds of possibility and reap big rewards.”
