The Nebraska Alumni Association welcomes Steven Meints, Keri Mesropov, and Benjamin Trampe to the Council of Alumni Ambassadors, enhancing alumni engagement and supporting the University of Nebraska Lincoln tradition.

The Nebraska Alumni Association announces three new members joining its Council of Alumni Ambassadors. This council plays an important role in building connections among graduates, current students, and the wider Nebraska community.

The 50-member council represents the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s nine colleges and a variety of class years, professions, and locations. Members serve three-year terms and meet twice a year on campus. During these meetings, they learn about key issues affecting the university, experience campus programs, and share feedback that strengthens the alumni association’s mission.

“The council helps the Alumni Association foster meaningful connections between Huskers past, present and future,” said Shelley Zaborowski, executive director of the Nebraska Alumni Association. “The group is an advocacy arm for the university and helps us champion alumni interests and strengthen the Nebraska tradition.”

The new members are accomplished professionals who bring diverse experience to the council.

 • Benjamin Trampe, a 2014 graduate, is an agronomy data lead at CSS Farms in Axtell, Nebraska.

 • Steven Meints, a 1993 and 1997 graduate, is an attorney with the U.S. Army and Army Reserve JAG Corps in Orlando, Florida.

 • Keri Mesropov, a 1992 graduate, is the founder and executive director of Spring Talent Development in Centennial, Colorado.

These ambassadors join a respected group that helps shape the university’s future while honoring its past. Their insights from law, talent development, and agriculture will provide valuable perspectives as the council supports the alumni association’s goals.

By adding these dedicated alumni, the University of Nebraska–Lincoln continues to strengthen ties with graduates across the country, ensuring the Husker tradition remains vibrant and connected for generations to come.
