Ames, IA – AgCareers remains committed to nurturing the next generation of agricultural talent with the release of the third edition of the U.S. Classroom Implementation Kit. This comprehensive resource, designed for teachers, educators, advisors, and industry leaders, empowers students to explore and prepare for meaningful careers across the food and agriculture sectors.

Developed by education experts from the National FFA Organization, the Classroom Implementation Kit is designed to complement the newest edition of the AgCareers U.S. Food & Agriculture Career Guide. The kit features ready-to-use lesson plans, hands-on activities, interactive worksheets, curated resources, and digital links, all aligned with education standards and offering optional extended learning opportunities.

We talked to so many teachers at last week’s National FFA Convention who were thrilled to have this new resource for their classroom,” said Bonnie Johnson, Marketing & Communications Manager, AgCareers. “We want to ensure that educators across the U.S. know about this unique resource to educate and explore the unlimited career pathways in the agriculture and food industry,” added Johnson.

Through guided lessons, students gain valuable insights into agricultural career pathways while learning to leverage the AgCareers Food & Agriculture Career Guide to plan their own professional journeys.

Student Learning Objectives: Students who complete the Classroom Kit activities will:

  1. 1. Identify and utilize the tools and resources available to prepare for a future career.

  1. 2. Understand the value of preparation for internships, mentorships, and other career development opportunities.
