Michigan State University recognizes 86 graduating students with perfect academic records awarding the Board of Trustees Award to celebrate dedication of excellence and achievement across diverse academic programs.

Michigan State University recognizes 86 graduating students for exceptional academic achievement during its December ceremonies. These students earn the MSU Board of Trustees Award after completing their degrees with a perfect 4.0 grade point average, a distinction achieved by only a small number of graduates.

The MSU Board of Trustees presents this award at its December 12 meeting to honor students who demonstrate sustained academic excellence throughout their studies. Each recipient is also recognized during their individual commencement ceremony and receives a special honor cord to wear as part of their academic regalia.

The Board of Trustees Award reflects the university’s commitment to academic excellence, discipline, and lifelong learning. Students receiving this recognition represent a wide range of colleges and academic programs, including agriculture, natural sciences, engineering, business, education, health sciences, social sciences, and communication.
