The Montana Stockgrowers Association (MSGA) proudly shares that several of its members have been appointed to important state livestock boards. These appointments, confirmed during Montana’s 69th legislative session, show the state's strong focus on agriculture and livestock development.
Eric Moore of Miles City begins his first term on the Montana Board of Livestock, serving through March 1, 2029.
Moore brings deep knowledge from both ranching and his time in the Montana legislature. His experience will help guide decisions on livestock health and agricultural progress.
Jake Feddes of Belgrade has been reappointed for a second term ending March 1, 2031. Feddes is known for his work in livestock production and meat processing. His continued role helps ensure that Montana’s ranching needs are well understood and supported.
The Montana Livestock Loss Board works to reduce losses from predators like wolves and bears. Doreen Gillespie from Ethridge has been reappointed to this board until January 2, 2029.
Gillespie has served as board chair and brings strong leadership and firsthand understanding of predator challenges faced by ranchers.
Josh Donald of Melville joins the Montana Board of Veterinary Medicine as a public member. As President of Cayuse Livestock Company, he represents the voice of producers and understands the vital connection between veterinarians and ranchers.
His five-year term helps support public health and animal care through informed policies.
