Mitch Eviston of Meristem Crop Performance won EY 2025 East Central Entrepreneur of the Year Award for impactful leadership, long-term value creation, and growth in the ag industry.

Mitch Eviston, Founder and CEO of Meristem Crop Performance, is named the Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 East Central Award winner by Ernst & Young LLP (EY US). This award is one of the most respected programs that highlights outstanding leaders of high-growth companies across the country.

For 40 years, EY US has been honoring top entrepreneurs who bring innovation, growth, and long-term value to their industries and communities. This year, a panel of independent judges, which included past award winners and well-known business leaders, selected Eviston based on his purpose-driven leadership, strong growth record, and commitment to making a positive impact.

“This is a real honor that just shows the great people we have at Meristem working every day to help farmers produce more bushels for less,” Eviston said. “I am humbled to be included among the prestigious list of past winners.”

As the East Central winner, Eviston will now be considered for the national Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 Awards. The national winners will be announced in November at the Strategic Growth Forum, a major event that brings together leading companies. The overall national winner will then compete for the EY World Entrepreneur of The Year Award in June 2026.

This program celebrates different types of business leaders — from original startup founders to innovative CEOs and family business owners. Each has shown bold thinking, creativity, and a passion for making their businesses stronger.

Mitch Eviston’s recognition shines a light on how leadership in the agriculture industry continues to grow and inspires others to bring change.
