KLF supports future ag leaders with scholarships funded by GoBob, Hampel Oil, and Grass & Grain, aiding five Kansas students in their higher education and leadership development in agriculture.

The Kansas Livestock Foundation (KLF) has awarded scholarships to five Kansas students pursuing degrees in agriculture. These awards, made possible by generous supporters, continue KLF’s mission of advancing agricultural education.

Two students from Kansas State University have each received $1,000 GoBob America’s Ranch Equipment Scholarships. Funding came from the auction of a GoBob hay feeder at the Kansas Livestock Association (KLA) Convention. GoBob is known for distributing quality farm and ranch equipment, including steel pipes, gates, fencing supplies, and heavy-duty tools.

In addition, two more students were awarded $1,000 Hampel Oil/Mobil Delvac Scholarships through KLF. These were made possible by Hampel Oil, a family-owned business with six Kansas locations. Their continued support strengthens educational pathways for students in agriculture.

A fifth student received the $1,500 Grass & Grain Scholarship, also provided through KLF. The funding was raised via the auction of an advertising package at the KLA Convention. Grass & Grain, a respected agricultural publication since 1954, serves readers in Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Missouri.

According to the announcement, “Funding for these scholarships was generated through proceeds from the auction of a GoBob hay feeder at the KLA Convention.”

These scholarships recognize students for their dedication to agriculture and provide valuable support as they pursue their degrees. The awards also reflect how industry partnerships and community support help grow the future of agriculture in Kansas.

With continued investment from donors and strong community engagement, the Kansas Livestock Foundation remains committed to building the next generation of agricultural professionals. These awards are a strong example of how agriculture and education go hand in hand.
