The U.S. Grains Council (USGC) recently celebrated the remarkable four-decade service of Ken Rosenow during its 65th Annual Membership Meeting and 22nd International Marketing Conference in Austin, Texas.
Rosenow, who serves as a director on the Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board (WCPB), has played a pivotal role in expanding U.S. agricultural exports.
Rosenow's journey with the USGC began when he volunteered for a trade mission to Japan, Korea, and Taiwan, representing the WCPB.
This experience sparked his enduring commitment to enhancing the global reach of U.S. agricultural products, a passion that has only grown over the years.
Rosenow cherishes his time spent by the lake with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
He is an advocate for greater involvement in both local and national agricultural associations, encouraging his fellow producers to engage more actively in the industry.
His dedication serves as an inspiring example for both current and future members of the agricultural community.
“We had a group from Japan sitting at our dining room table there, and my wife made barbecued steak and apple pie and typical Wisconsin foods like that and they really appreciated that,” Rosenow said.
“Customers like to get to know your family, when they see you’ve been doing this for generations and generations and you’re proud of what you produce.”
