The Kansas Farm Bureau (KFB) Foundation for Agriculture has awarded $26,500 in scholarships to 45 students for the 2025–26 school year. These scholarships support students who are pursuing higher education in fields that benefit agriculture and rural communities in Kansas.
“We’re investing in students today to ensure they become tomorrow’s leaders,” says Joe Newland, KFB President and Foundation Chair.
In addition to the KFB Foundation’s awards, local county Farm Bureaus across Kansas also awarded more than $160,000 in scholarships to nearly 200 students.
"The KFB Foundation for Agriculture is absolutely thrilled to support our member students through these scholarship awards,” says Shannon Martin, assistant director of the Foundation. “It's an honor to invest in their potential and help them achieve their academic and personal goals."
The scholarships include various privately funded memorial scholarships as well as general awards for students attending Kansas colleges and universities.
