Albaugh, LLC announced the promotion of Joe Mares to Vice President of Marketing for the North America region. In this role, he led marketing strategy and execution across the region. His work includes overseeing new product development, field research programs, regulatory planning, and market positioning. These efforts supported Albaugh’s continued growth in North America.
Mares brings more than 40 years of experience in the crop protection, specialty products, and industrial sectors across the United States and Canada. Over his career, he built strong knowledge in technical development, product formulation, business development, and portfolio management. His wide experience helped him understand market needs and deliver effective solutions.
Before this role, Mares served as Director of Global New Product Development at Albaugh. In that position, he played an important role in identifying new opportunities and expanding the company’s global product portfolio. His work supported innovation and helped the company grow in competitive markets.

Mares holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from James Madison University and a Master of Science degree in Entomology from Virginia Polytechnic University. His strong educational background supported his long career in agriculture and science.
