Think job flexibility, is it really as important in agriculture and food as it is for other industry types?

AgCareers.com’s annual Agriculture & Food HR Review survey is available for participation, now through June 30th.  Besides the $10 Amazon gift card, why should you spend 15 minutes completing the survey?

1) Data is Power

The competitive talent market and workplace create an evolving landscape that requires companies to stop measure, evaluate and adapt on a routine basis.  No longer are stagnate practices acceptable standards.  Having reliable market research available to your human resources department and leadership can mean the difference in successful performance and failure.  Knowing what is happening and what to expect in the coming months can allow for proactive planning and implementation to ease human capital stressors.

Think job flexibility, is it really as important in agriculture and food as it is for other industry types?

2) Industry Relevant

HR data is powerful, but it means the most when it is relevant to your business.  The Agriculture & Food HR Review initiative surveys agriculture and food companies to identify the distinctive topics within our very own workplaces.  In this survey, we don’t squeeze our companies in between the categories lines that don’t quite fit.  The data collected is for agriculture and food by agriculture and food, a pillar industry like none other.  Having customized data resources allows us all to better compete in today’s business environment.

Think salary budgeting and what are companies in our industry are planning to do, not the masses.

3) Win Win

Compiling HR specific insights for our industry is only possible when people take the time to contribute the necessary data.  When we band together as industry and industry advocates, we can help meet our data needs, working together to bring forward emerging trends and metrics to help leverage our knowledge to better our industry.
