Media ArticleRock River Laboratory, Inc. announced the hiring of David Williams as Global Sales Director. The company selected Williams to lead its growing agronomy sales team. His role focused on guiding representatives from newly added laboratories and bringing teams together to improve service for agricultural customers.
In his position, Williams guided team members from A&L Canada Laboratories in Ontario, Agri-Labs in Indiana, and Frontier Labs in Iowa. He also worked closely with the main Rock River Laboratory team based in Wisconsin. His leadership helped improve team coordination and customer support across all locations.

Williams brought strong education and agriculture experience to his role. He attended Southern Illinois University and earned degrees in animal science, food, and nutrition. His education focused on livestock production and ruminant nutrition. His career included many years in sales management and production leadership roles.
Before joining Rock River Laboratory, Williams worked for Land O’Lakes Purina Animal Nutrition. He also managed a large cow and calf operation and served as an assistant farm manager at a university livestock center. His farming background began on his family farm in southern Illinois, giving him a clear understanding of production agriculture.
Williams also served his country as a decorated veteran. He completed combat deployment in Iraq and served with the Commanding General’s Mounted Color Guard. He continued his military service as a chaplain for the Illinois Army National Guard, showing leadership both in agriculture and public service.
Founded in 1976, Rock River Laboratory operated as a family-run laboratory network. The company supported agriculture through advanced testing systems, research-based analysis, and modern diagnostic tools. Its team of skilled specialists delivered accurate and timely results to customers around the world.
With Williams in this leadership role, Rock River Laboratory strengthened its agronomy services, improved customer support, and continued building strong relationships across the agriculture industry.
