Claudio Torres becomes Chairman of Sadot Group, combining leadership experience from Monsanto and Syngenta with CEO Chagay Ravid’s expertise to support Sadot’s global agri-food growth plans.

Sadot Group Inc. (SDOT), a growing company in the global agri-food supply chain, officially appoints Claudio Torres as Chairman of the Board. The appointment is effective June 18, 2025, and marks a major milestone for the company’s leadership team.

Torres joined Sadot’s Board in February 2025 and has served as Vice Chairman. His promotion to Chairman is part of Sadot’s strategy to strengthen its executive leadership as it continues to expand globally.

“Appointment of Claudio Torres as Chairman brings over 30 years of agricultural sector leadership to Sadot Group (SDOT, Financial).”

With more than three decades of leadership experience, Torres has worked in major agricultural companies including Monsanto, Syngenta, and Advanta Seeds. His background includes work across several continents, focusing on market development, company growth, and mergers and acquisitions.

“Torres's experience from top companies like Monsanto and Syngenta enhances Sadot's strategic growth plans.”

Torres will work closely with Sadot’s CEO Chagay Ravid, who brings expertise in technology, mergers, acquisitions, and investment banking. The combination of Torres’s agricultural background and Ravid’s business strategy is expected to strengthen the company’s long-term goals.

“Complementary expertise between new Chairman and CEO Chagay Ravid is expected to drive Sadot's next growth phase.”

Sadot Group operates in key parts of the global food supply chain. Its core activities include agri-commodity trading, as well as farming operations focused on grains and tree crops in Southern Africa. The company connects producers and consumers worldwide, especially in Southeast Asia, China, and the MENA region.

This leadership move supports Sadot’s vision of becoming a strong global player in food and agriculture, while creating new opportunities for growth and innovation.
