Nutrien names Chris Reynolds to lead global sales, uniting retail and wholesale teams, improving efficiency, supporting customers worldwide, and ensuring leadership continuity as the company moves into its next growth phase.

Nutrien Ltd. announces Chris Reynolds as Executive Vice President, Global Sales. The company created this role to bring wholesale and retail sales leadership together and improve how value is delivered to customers worldwide.

In this position, Reynolds leads sales planning and execution across Nutrien’s global network. His focus remains on strong customer relationships, better coordination, and clear commercial strategies. By aligning teams, the company aims to turn its scale and experience into real benefits for growers and partners.

“Chris’ experience, vision, and leadership will guide our global sales organization through its next phase of growth,” says Ken Seitz, President and Chief Executive Officer. “His track record of delivering results across our international operations makes him the right leader to deliver greater value for our customers worldwide, strengthen our teams, capture efficiency, and enhance our execution.”

Reynolds brings more than 25 years of experience in the fertilizer industry, including 22 years with Nutrien. During this time, he worked in domestic and international sales, supply chain operations, potash production, and commercial leadership. Before this appointment, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer. He also held leadership roles with global industry groups and served on the board of Canpotex Limited.

The leadership change follows a planned transition. Jeff Tarsi steped back from his role as Executive Vice President and President of Global Retail at the end of 2025. He continues supporting the company in an advisory role, offering guidance on downstream strategy and long-term planning.

“I want to sincerely thank Jeff for his leadership and the lasting impact he has had on Nutrien over his tenure,” Seitz says. “By keeping safety and customers at the center of everything we do, Jeff has played a central role in building and scaling our global retail platform, positioning us as a leading provider of crop inputs and services. We’re grateful he will continue to support Nutrien in an advisory capacity, and we will continue to benefit from his experience and counsel.”

“It has been a privilege to serve Nutrien and work alongside such a talented team,” Tarsi says. “I’m confident in Chris’ leadership and the direction of the business, and I look forward to supporting the team in an advisory role as Nutrien continues to deliver for its customers.”
