The New York Animal Agriculture Coalition (NYAAC) proudly announces the winners of its 2025 scholarship program: Anna Maxwell and Sophia Wilbur. These scholarships are awarded each year to students who show dedication to production of animal agriculture and a strong desire to improve the industry.

NYAAC’s mission is to promote and support animal agriculture by empowering future leaders. This year’s recipients clearly reflect that mission.

Anna Maxwell, a native of New York, was raised in the dairy industry and plans to study Animal Science at Cornell University after completing her educational exchange in Chile. She hopes to become an agricultural lawyer, working to serve and support the farming communities she grew up in.

Sophia Wilbur is also passionate about animal agriculture and is committed to improving livestock production through ethical and sustainable practices. She will continue her studies at Cornell University and looks forward to contributing to the future of animal health.

NYAAC celebrates the achievements of both scholarship recipients and is proud to help support their academic journeys. Their dedication to the agriculture industry is inspiring, and NYAAC is excited to see the difference they will make.
