The Animal Agriculture Alliance has elevated three team members to senior roles, boosting its leadership and community engagement efforts.

The Animal Agriculture Alliance recently celebrated the advancement of three exemplary team members, reflecting its ongoing commitment to nurturing leadership and expertise in the agricultural sector.

These promotions highlight the organization's strategy to enhance its influence and advocacy within the animal agriculture community.

Emily Ellis, previously an intern and a full-time member since 2020, has been promoted to Director of Communications and Content. In her new role, Ellis is responsible for leading the Alliance's strategic communications and further developing its brand identity.

She played a pivotal role in the release of a significant 2024 report on the sustainability of animal agriculture and has been instrumental in expanding educational outreach through the College Aggies Online scholarship program.

Abby Kornegay, who joined the Alliance in 2022, has been appointed as the Director of Issues and Engagement.

Kornegay's efforts are crucial in managing the Alliance's crisis communications and addressing misinformation that threatens food security.

Her role also includes enhancing industry partnerships, as demonstrated by her coordination of a successful farm tour for key stakeholders in the food service industry in fall 2024.

Grace Simpson, promoted to Manager of Membership and Communications, has been with the Alliance since her internship in 2021. Simpson's new responsibilities include overseeing membership and sponsorship initiatives and managing operational needs.

Her leadership has significantly improved member engagement and retention, and she continues to enhance the Alliance's visibility through effective social media strategies.
