The Women in Agribusiness Summit offers scholarships for students to attend its 2025 event, enriching their academic and career prospects in agribusiness.

The Women in Agribusiness (WIA) Student Scholarship Award for 2025 is now accepting applications.

This prestigious scholarship offers students a chance to attend the WIA Summit, an essential event for those interested in agribusiness careers, scheduled for September 22-24 in Orlando, Florida. The application deadline is set for July 13.

The scholarship encompasses complimentary registration and accommodations at the Summit, where recipients will join over 1,000 industry decision-makers.

Thanks to the generous contributions of sponsors, the WIA Student Scholarship Program annually allocates over $100,000, allowing students from accredited institutions to immerse themselves in industry knowledge, build connections, and potentially find future employers.

The program has distributed $1.365 million, aiding nearly 400 young women in their pursuit of agribusiness careers.

Scholarship eligibility extends to full-time students at any academic level—from freshman to doctoral candidates—though preference is given to juniors and seniors.

Candidates must be enrolled in agricultural-related studies, though those with different majors may apply if they can justify how attending the Summit will benefit their professional development.

The WIA Summit is renowned for its specialized events tailored for student engagement, including exclusive meals and workshops, and facilitating interactions with sponsoring companies.

Past participants have even secured employment through connections made at the Summit, highlighting the profound impact this opportunity can have on a student's educational and professional journey.
