Job Description:
The responsibility of this role is to provide customer service to growers through the sale of crop protection, nutrition, seed, technology and agronomic products and services. 
 
This position requires the ability to service a growing customer base in West Central Saskatchewan, gain sales of crop inputs, prospect for new customers and focus on the progression of the business.  As our business grows, we are looking to increase our sales team and expand our geographical reach.  This person will be expected to prospect for new business and build relationships with farming operations. In this position you will be part of the sales team, working to create solutions and opportunities for customers to help their business be more profitable and efficient.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Maintain a strong positive relationship with clients and pursue opportunities for growth of the business.
  • Work closely with customers to help them achieve greater ROI based on their farming goals and objectives.
  • Provide agronomic knowledge for clients’ needs.
  • Create business plans for personal and future success.
  • Work closely with industry partners for the most up to date agronomic product knowledge and industry advances.
  • Keep up to date on new technologies and innovations within the agriculture industry.

Skills Required
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • The ability to understand and execute a business plan
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Understanding of western Canadian agronomic practices and ability to relate to growers in both practical application as well as new crop science technologies.
  • Willingness to learn new processes, agronomic skills and any other requirements that successfully fulfill customers’ experiences.
 
Experience
  • Passionate about Agriculture and the future of Agriculture
  • Minimum 3 years of sales/agronomy related experience
  • Degree or Diploma in Agriculture or Business is preferred.
  • Valid class 5 driver’s license
