We are looking for a Truck Driver/ Rural Products Sales Representative to join our team on a Permanent, Full-Time basis. At Elders Roseworthy, we're a fun, motivated and friendly team looking for a dedicated team player to join us.
As a Truck Driver/ Rural Products Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Branch's rural products team. You will be responsible for branch logistics, including the safe receiving and dispatching of stock, while leveraging your expert product knowledge and exceptional customer service skills. Your ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients will be essential as you explore new opportunities for them. Supported by the extensive Elders network, you will have access to the necessary tools and resources to grow and advance in your career.
Responsibilities
Deliver rural products to clients across the region, ensuring timely and safe transport.
Providing outstanding customer service - build and maintain strong relationships, understanding client needs, and offering advice on our product range.
Assist customers in-store, maintaining well-presented displays and a tidy warehouse.
Assist with storage, handling, and receiving of stock, maintain accurate delivery records, and comply with all safety procedures.
Support inventory management, including stocktaking and the safe dispatch of products.
Process sales transactions and prepare sales quotes for clients.
Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
About You
You hold a valid HR or MR truck licence, with a forklift licence highly regarded.
You're a confident communicator who enjoys building strong customer relationships.
You have a genuine interest in agriculture and rural products, or you're eager to learn.
You're physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.
You're reliable, safety-conscious, and take pride in delivering excellent service.
You're proactive, self-motivated, and work well both independently and as part of a team.
