As our Tactical Ag Sales Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the operational and sales functions of Tactical AGA's agricultural rental and procurement business. Based within the AIRR retail network, you'll manage a multimillion-dollar inventory, oversee procurement activities, and drive business efficiency through strong supplier relationships and streamlined sales operations.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional with a passion for agriculture and a strong understanding of input procurement, sales coordination, and inventory management.
Responsibilities
As a Tactical Ag Sales Operations Manager, you will:
Oversee product management, procurement, sales operations and administration for a high-performing agricultural rental unit
Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with seasonal demand and operational goals
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, vendors and customers
Monitor and manage inventory levels, delivery schedules and order processing to ensure uninterrupted supply
Analyse market trends and competitor activity to support product selection and pricing decisions
Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and environmental standards
About You
To succeed at AIRR, you have:
Tertiary qualification in Agribusiness, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Extensive experience in agricultural procurement or sales operations, ideally within large-scale farming
Strong knowledge of agricultural inputs, market dynamics, and farming practices
Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement platforms
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively across teams, with a willingness to travel to suppliers and customers
