Job Description: About the Role

As our Tactical Ag Sales Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the operational and sales functions of Tactical AGA's agricultural rental and procurement business. Based within the AIRR retail network, you'll manage a multimillion-dollar inventory, oversee procurement activities, and drive business efficiency through strong supplier relationships and streamlined sales operations.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional with a passion for agriculture and a strong understanding of input procurement, sales coordination, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

As a Tactical Ag Sales Operations Manager, you will:
  • Oversee product management, procurement, sales operations and administration for a high-performing agricultural rental unit
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with seasonal demand and operational goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, vendors and customers
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, delivery schedules and order processing to ensure uninterrupted supply
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to support product selection and pricing decisions
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and environmental standards


About You

To succeed at AIRR, you have:
  • Tertiary qualification in Agribusiness, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in agricultural procurement or sales operations, ideally within large-scale farming
  • Strong knowledge of agricultural inputs, market dynamics, and farming practices
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement platforms
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams, with a willingness to travel to suppliers and customers
