About the role

We are now seeking a Support Officer Rural Products to join our close-knit Goondiwindi team on a permanent full-time basis.

B&W Rural are leading agricultural service providers in northern NSW and southern QLD o ffering farm chemicals, fertiliser, seed, merchandise, livestock, water equipment, IOT devices, agronomic services and fee-for-service consulting. In this dynamic, fast paced role, you will provide exceptional customer service and logistics support to the Rural Products team.

Supported by the Elders network, you will be provided with the tools necessary for you to grow in your career.

Responsibilities

As a Support Officer Rural Products, you will:
  • Assist in the safe storage of rural products including stock feed, farm equipment, vet products and crop protection chemicals
  • Receive, dispatch and process incoming/ outgoing inventory
  • Process client purchases, both instore transactions and orders for delivery
  • Provide administrative support to the rural products team as required and assist with promotional campaigns
  • Perform general shed and yard duties including stock take and stock rotation etc.


About you

To be successful, you will have:
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment with merchandising knowledge
  • Demonstrated understanding of agriculture products and seasonal differences and our competitors
  • Articulate written and verbal communication and proficient computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team with time management skills
  • Driver's license, Forklift and MR Truck licence (preferred)
