About the role
We are looking for a Support Officer Logistics to join the Katherine team on a permanent, full-time basis.

As a Support Officer Logistics, you will be joining a close-knit team servicing the livestock, agronomy, insurance, real estate, water trading and rural products needs of our Top End clients. This will be a varied role that will see you provide warehousing & logistics and administration support to the rural products team, including receiving and dispatching stock in a safe manner. Supported by the Elders network, you will be provided with the tools necessary for you to grow in your career.

Responsibilities
As a Support Officer Logistics you will:

Assist sales staff by picking, packing and coordinating deliveries of orders to clients
Provide exceptional customer service, acting as the first point of contact for order deliveries/ pick-ups
Perform the storage, handling, receiving and dispatching of stock in a safe and timely manner
Ensure good inwards and outwards are processed accurately according to the associated paperwork.
Assist with stocktake and other rural products logistics support activities as needed

About you

To succeed in the role of a Support Officer Logistics, you have:

A current Forklift License and driver license
Knowledge of rural products, merchandise storage and handling practices
Previous experience within a fast-paced customer service environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to work as a team
Effective communication skills, written and verbal
