Job Description: About the role

We are looking for a Rural Products Sales Representative to join our team on a part time or full-time basis.

As an Elders Rural Products Sales Representative, your expert product knowledge and customer service skills will enable you to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including finding new opportunities for them to explore. Supported by the Elders network, you will be provided with the tools necessary for you to grow in your career.

Responsibilities

Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Learning about farm plans and the Agronomists recommendations.
Proactively learning the Elders system and procedures
Developing new business opportunities to achieve branch KPI's and targets
Support inventory management, including stocktake, receivals and general ordering
General Retail sales, generating quotations.
Farm visits and deliveries.

Elders will provide all product knowledge training to the right candidate.

About you

You thrive in a small close knit community
You thrive in a collaborative working environment
You have an understanding of farm practices and/or rural products knowledge to support clients (or the willingness to learn)
Have a proven track record in sales, including retail skills
Have an ability to provide a high level of customer service and cultivate relationships with current and future clients
Have a driver's license. A forklift license is preferred however we can support you to obtain one.
