Job Description: About the role
We are seeking a Admin Assistant/Receptionist to join our Eureka team on a permanent, part-time basis with flexibility on hours for the right candidate.
  • Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday Friday
  • Week 2: Thursday and Friday


As the first point of contact for our customers, suppliers and visitors, you will play an integral role to make everyone feel welcome across our Altona site. Reporting to the Business Manager, you will provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership team, logging purchase invoices, coordinate and track dispatch of chemical samples and undertake visitor and contractor inductions.

Responsibilities

As an Admin Assistant/Receptionist, you will be responsible for:
  • Responding to client and supplier enquiries via phone, email, and mail
  • Coordinating the delivery and dispatch of goods and chemical samples, including tracking, raising purchase orders, and maintaining accurate records
  • Managing office and staff amenity supplies, ensuring appropriate stock levels across sites
  • Providing administrative support including invoice processing in SAGE, data entry and filing.
  • Maintaining training and induction records
  • Assisting with onboarding processes such as visitor and contractor inductions, respirator fit testing, and general administrative tasks for senior management


About you

To succeed at Eureka, you have:
  • Previous experience in admin or receptionist role
  • Ability to multitask, time management, and communicate with varying stakeholder groups
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive and professional attitude
  • Tech-savvy with Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new systems
  • Ability to apply oral and written communication and interpersonal skills in a administrative support role.
  • Have access to your own vehicle as public transport not available in the area.
