About the role

Joining our National Procurement team, this role will specialise in the Fertiliser category where you will be responsible for assisting with the management of procurement and contract distribution across the wider Elders business. This is a dynamic role which will see you help coordinating all activities associated with the supply chain operations, while working with our suppliers and staff in the high paced commodity product category.

Responsibilities
As a key member of the team, you will:
  • Oversee daily pricing and timely communication of offers to State Rural Product Managers and rural product stores
  • Collaborate with State Rural Product Managers, stores and suppliers on contract allocations
  • Assist in negotiating favourable terms and conditions, including pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules with key suppliers
  • Reporting and communicating open order positions and contract compliance
  • Manage inventory levels and HO contracts
  • Assist across all areas of the fertiliser category


About you
To succeed at Elders, you have:
  • Previous experience in a procurement, supply chain or sourcing role
  • Knowledge of fertilisers and related supply chains
  • Proven track record of sales, negotiation and managing supplier relationships
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to analyse market data
  • Strong business and financial acumen
