About the role
Overseeing the cost control, procurement, safety, compliance, and business projects, our Finance & Operations Business Partner will support the Sunfam General Manager with identifying and improving our operations, ensuring efficiency and achieving our financial targets. Working with our Branch Managers, you will also assist with developing and updating Business Plans to meet budgets, monitor inventory levels, working capital costs, and address aged or expired inventory.
Responsibilities
As a Finance & Operations Business Partner with Sunfam, you will:
Prepare and provide financial reports, analysis and insights to key stakeholders
Investigate and resolve financial anomalies in the P&L and provide recommendations
Provide support for monthly BAS submissions and assist with branch P&L queries
Monitor company fleet including: repairs, maintenance, fuel usage, and infringements
Proactively identify and implement process improvement initiatives
Manage overdue debtors and work with credit teams on client credit limits
About you
To succeed at Elders, you have:
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/ Commerce or equivalent (desired)
Previous experience in a finance/ accounting role with demonstrated financial acumen
Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite and accounting software (Merlin)
Detail orientated with the ability to review and provide improvements on processes
Articulate communication skills, both written and verbally, with confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels of the business
Demonstrated experience preparing and delivering financial analysis and business development insights
