About the role
As an Elders Business Development Manager - Property Management, you will play a key role in identifying, developing, and executing strategic growth opportunities. Your focus will be on expanding our client base by generating a strong pipeline of potential new business, driving revenue growth within the property management sector. This role requires a proactive, results-driven professional who can build lasting relationships and contribute to the continued success of our property management division.
Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through phone canvassing, door knocking, and targeted marketing.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to grow the rent roll and drive revenue growth.
Conduct market appraisals and present property management services to prospective clients.
Convert proposals into management agreements and coordinate documentation ensuring legal compliance.
Provide professional, accurate advice and maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and competitor activity.
Maintain accurate CRM records and report on business development and client interactions.
Network through industry events to generate referrals and collaborate with Sales to convert leads into new managements.
About you
To succeed at Elders, you:
Previous experience in a similar business development role
Relevant tertiary qualifications (desirable)
Proven track record in developing and securing new business, includes canvassing, prospecting and marketing
Experience in the local property market
Strong client relationship and communication skills
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
Sound computer and administration skills
Solid understanding of applicable Real Estate legislation
Current Property Management and/or Real Estate Licence, Certificate of Registration
Driver's licence (essential)
