About the role

As an Elders Business Development Manager - Property Management, you will play a key role in identifying, developing, and executing strategic growth opportunities. Your focus will be on expanding our client base by generating a strong pipeline of potential new business, driving revenue growth within the property management sector. This role requires a proactive, results-driven professional who can build lasting relationships and contribute to the continued success of our property management division.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through phone canvassing, door knocking, and targeted marketing.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to grow the rent roll and drive revenue growth.
  • Conduct market appraisals and present property management services to prospective clients.
  • Convert proposals into management agreements and coordinate documentation ensuring legal compliance.
  • Provide professional, accurate advice and maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and competitor activity.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and report on business development and client interactions.
  • Network through industry events to generate referrals and collaborate with Sales to convert leads into new managements.


About you

To succeed at Elders, you:
  • Previous experience in a similar business development role
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (desirable)
  • Proven track record in developing and securing new business, includes canvassing, prospecting and marketing
  • Experience in the local property market
  • Strong client relationship and communication skills
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
  • Sound computer and administration skills
  • Solid understanding of applicable Real Estate legislation
  • Current Property Management and/or Real Estate Licence, Certificate of Registration
  • Driver's licence (essential)
