About the role

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing and executing growth opportunities to generate a pipeline of potential new business for our Property Management teams. Working alongside our Branch Manager, Sales and Property Management team, this role is fast-paced and requires strong market knowledge, exceptional negotiation skills, high-quality customer service, and a track record of success within a sales environment.

We are seeking people who are self-motivated, have a willingness to learn and those who are genuinely seeking to build a career. Training and development will be provided with focus on your growth and proficiency as a high performing agent in the local area. The successful candidate will be joining a team who pride themselves on providing outstanding customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

As a Business Development Manager, you will:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various outreach methods
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to grow the rent roll and drive revenue growth
  • Conduct market appraisals and advise property owners & managers on rental returns and potential increases
  • Present and promote property management services, converting proposals into managing agency agreements
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, maintain accurate records, and attend events for networking and referrals
  • Work collaboratively with a close-knit sales team to secure buyer and seller enquiries


About you

To succeed at Elders, you have:
  • Industry experience within the local area of Ipswich and an understanding of Residential Tenancy Legislation
  • Proven experience in developing and securing new business
  • Current driver's licence and Real Estate Salesperson Registration Certificate
  • Strong client relationship and communication skills with an eye for detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and autonomously with an enthusiastic, energetic and highly organised persona
