About the role We are seeking a dynamic Branch Manager to join our North QLD leadership team in this exciting, fast-paced, full-time, permanent role. Our Innisfail branch is deeply committed to supporting the local community, sponsoring a number of events and organisations each year, including a variety of local school functions.
Overseeing a close-knit team across the Innisfail branch providing Livestock, Agronomy and Rural Supplies and Real Estate services to the local area, you will lead a team of specialists to drive growth, exceed targets, and deliver outstanding results. Your leadership skills will be key in inspiring and managing teams across multiple services, ensuring a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Responsibilities As an Elders Branch Manager, you will:
Provide input and assistance to the state leadership team with preparing annual budgets and business plans
Manage the branch staffing requirements including recruitment, training, performance management etc.
Build and maintain relationships with key clients to understand their needs and support sales staff, as needed
Plan and drive marketing of branch services and products and play an active role in campaigns, field days, client nights and community events
Prioritise the safety of your staff and clients, and actively contributing to Elders' zero-harm culture
About you To excel at Elders, you have:
Proven ability to lead dynamic sales teams, drive targets and build new revenue
Previous experience working in the Agricultural sector ( Agronomy preferred/ Livestock experience preferred/ Sales Licence preferred )
Strong business and financial acumen with ability to interpret and prepare P&L reports
Passion for building strong relationships, internally and externally, creating a positive and collaborative team environment
Proficiency with the Microsoft suite and strong communication skills, verbally and written
Qualifications in Business Management/ Agriculture (preferred)
