About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Branch Manager to join our Central NSW leadership team in this exciting, fast-paced, full-time, permanent role. Our Coonabarabran branch is deeply committed to supporting the local community, sponsoring a number of events and organisations each year, including the local Rugby Club.

Overseeing a close-knit team across the Coonabarabran and Baradine branches providing Livestock, Agronomy and Rural Supplies services to the local area, you will lead a team of 10 specialists to drive growth, exceed targets, and deliver outstanding results. Your leadership skills will be key in inspiring and managing teams across multiple services, ensuring a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Responsibilities

As a Branch Manager, you will:


  • Provide input and assistance to the state leadership team with preparing annual budgets and business plans
  • Manage the branch staffing requirements including recruitment, training, performance management etc.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients to understand their needs and support driving sales
  • Plan and drive marketing of branch services and products and play an active role in campaigns, field days, client nights and community events
  • Prioritise the safety of your staff and clients, and actively contributing to Elders' zero-harm culture


About you

To excel at Elders, you have:


  • Proven ability to lead dynamic sales teams, drive targets and build new revenue
  • Strong business and financial acumen with ability to interpret and prepare P&L reports
  • Passion for building strong relationships, internally and externally, creating a positive and collaborative team environment
  • Previous experience working in the Agricultural sector and an understanding of seasonal requirements (Agronomy preferred)
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft suite and strong communication skills, verbally and written
  • Qualifications in Business Management/ Agriculture (preferred)
