About the role

We are looking for a Bank Reconciliation Officer to join the Elders team on a full-time, 18-month fixed term contract.

This exciting opportunity, based in Adelaide, will operate as a vital connection between the Elders head office and our national branch network - managing daily cashiering transactions to ensure accurate reconciliation of bank statements. You'll also oversee our Cash Manager and banking systems, submit and retrieve electronic payment and receipt data, and conduct daily financial reviews.

Responsibilities
  • Complete daily and monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring data aligns with the General Ledger and resolving any discrepancies
  • Manage outsourced cheque handling, electronic funds transfers, and direct credits
  • Support timely processing and accuracy of all banking transactions
  • Engage with Elders branches nationally to investigate and resolve reconciliation issues
  • Oversee data submission and retrieval in banking systems
  • Maintain strong internal relationships to ensure financial reporting accuracy


About you
  • Experience in accounting or clerical finance procedures
  • Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (desirable)
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and sound knowledge of Word and Outlook
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
