About the role

Elders Top End Group has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Property Manager to join the 2024's REINT #1 branch of the year, supporting their team of 20+ licensed agents and property managers who have had an impactful presence in the Darwin region for over 20years. Elders Top End Group is also the current National Real Estate Institute office of the year and manages over 1,100 properties.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone to take their first step into the property management sector. As an Assistant Property Manager, you will provide administrative support to our Property Management team with marketing, preparing leasing agreements and property management assistance. Your experience within the local area will assist you in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to understand their current and future needs. Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Property Manager, you will:
  • Prepare and process lease agreements, renewals, and tenancy documentation
  • Manage tenant communications, including inquiries, rent payments, and property concerns
  • Process rental applications, conduct reference checks, and maintain accurate records
  • Provide reception coverage, answer and direct calls, and assist with client inquiries
  • Support the team with general administrative duties, data entry, and filing


About you
To succeed at Elders, you will need:
  • Valid drivers and Real Estate Registration Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Confident and professional communicator, verbally and written, with a exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficiency using the Microsoft suite and able to embrace new technology and systems
  • Previous experience within an administration or customer focused role
  • Flexibility across working hours for property inspections, open homes etc.
  • Poses local knowledge of the Darwin region
