About the role
Reporting to the GM - Sales & Operations, the Area Manager will lead sales performance and growth across our 17 member stores, wholesale business and warehouse operations in South Australia.
Leading and developing high-performing teams, you will provide hands-on training, support and direction. Providing input to shape the business strategy, you will effectively collaborate with key stakeholders across the AIRR network to identify market trends, growth opportunities, and assist with annual budgeting. In addition to this, there will be a strong focus on driving growth and efficiency to achieve performance targets in line with AIRR's national strategy and approach.
Responsibilities
As an AIRR Area Manager, you will:
Provide supportive and clear direction to the warehouse team and member stores
Coach and build the capability of all employees and provide timely feedback against performance goals
Oversee day-to-day operations including inventory, client allocation, debt collection
Monitor and understand seasonal market trends to develop and execute relevant marketing materials
Review stock aging, sales performance and wage expense to drive efficiencies across the area
Ensure the effective delivery of the national AIRR sales strategy across member stores and warehouse operations
About you
To succeed as an Area Manager with AIRR, you have:
Previous leadership experience within the retail/ supply chain sector
Strong understanding of the Agricultural industry and seasonal demands
Demonstrated sales background with a proven record of achieving sales targets and driving results
Articulate communication, both written and verbal, with varying stakeholder groups
Highly developed business acumen with the ability to read and prepare Profit & Loss statements
Current drivers licence with the willingness to travel throughout SA
