About the role

We are looking for a Junior Accounts Payable Officer to join the supportive team on a 12 month fixed term, full-time basis.

As a Junior Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for processing accounts payable data, ensuring timely and accurate payment to vendors, and providing excellent customer service.

This role would suit an energetic team player who is looking to start a career in accounts payable or in a corporate environment, or an experienced professional looking for their next challenge.

Responsibilities
  • Processing large volumes of invoices and Credit notes.
  • Maintains data in related payment, reconciliation and accounting systems with integrity and accuracy.
  • Completes payments, related journals, account reconciliation and reports for major suppliers
  • Liaising with stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies and irregularities


About you
  • Some experience or familiarity with accounts payable tasks in a high-volume environment (preferred but not required).
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite, with an ability to learn quickly.
  • Exposure to systems like D365, AS400, or CAAPS (desirable but not essential).
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop problem-solving skills.
  • Clear communication skills with a professional and friendly attitude.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
