EastGen is looking for an energetic individual with a passion for the dairy industry and/or background in agriculture to work as an Artificial Insemination (AI) Intern with our Artificial Insemination (AI) Technicians. This summer internship will be from April 2026 to August 2026. 

We are looking for an individual in or closeto the following geographical area: Southwestern Ontario

You will learn: 

• The role of genetics and reproductive solutions in thriving Canadian farms
• How to effectively perform AI services, by assisting experienced AI Technicians on farm 
• Promote farm and agri-products to current and prospective customers
• You will learn from our Dairy Solutions Specialists and Genetic Advisors who use leading research and innovative technologies to provide value-added service to our customers

Who you are:

• Enthusiastic about the dairy industry and a keen interest in cattle
• Knowledgeable in the agriculture industry
• Keen interest to learn and develop your skills and knowledge
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Valid Ontario G class driver’s license and clean driving record
• Flexibility to work rotating schedules which include some Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
