This first session will provide a comprehensive understanding of what is meant by mental health and how some of the most common challenges can impact and influence work. This section will feature examples and case studies specifically from the agriculture industry.

?The second part of this first session will cover what support looks like. How you start a conversation with an employee, colleague or peer and where you go from there. The presenter will share practical mock conversations and how to execute on this key step.

Part 2: Supporting within Your Means & Taking Care of Yourself

Part two of this virtual workshop deals with you as an individual and making sure you understand how to help effectively, but also making sure that you set yourself up to be successful in doing so. This type of responsibility can take an emotional toll on those providing support and we want to be sure self-care is at the forefront of participant's minds.
