Since the transition of the Ag Warriors program from the International Agri-Center to AgCareers.com over a year ago, the program has continued to see success.
Ag Warriors, originally launched in 2012, assists veterans in search of careers in the agriculture industry. AgCareers.com has carried the mission of the program forward in the past year to achieve new heights and greater program development.
The job seeker audience continues to see development. There are more than 500 resumes in the resume database detailing some kind of military experience.
AgCareers.com hosted a webinar entitled “Translating Military Skills into Civilian Speak for Employment” in June 2014 for job seekers. Twenty-one participants registered and attended the free webinar presented by Lisa Rosser, CEO and Founder of The Value of a Veteran.
A video has also been produced by AgCareers.com explaining the benefits of the Ag Warriors program to job seekers. The video is live on AgCareers.com under /ag-warrior.cfm.

Employers interested in learning more about military recruitment are encouraged to attend the 2015 North American Ag & Food HR Roundtable in August. AgCareers.com will be presenting an add-on workshop detailing how to successfully interpret military experience and take a look at a military success story.
