AgCareers.com and MACA Join Forces to Share Knowledge
AgCareers.com is pleased to announce a recent partnership with the Mid America CropLife Association (MACA). As both groups strive to provide and support educational resources to the crop production industry, AgCareers.com and MACA have developed a partnership that will do just that through a series of online and written articles to be distributed to MACA members throughout 2011.
“We are fortunate within our business to encounter, learn and research a number of human resource issues that we can then share with others,” said Eric Spell, president of AgCareers.com. “This new venture with MACA is a great example of how we can strengthen the agriculture industry as a whole by working together to share this news and information.”
The relationship will focus on providing content for the MACA website as well as monthly newsletters and more in-depth articles for their semi-annual publication. Topic selections for this year’s partnership include generational information; hosting interns; successful on-boarding; and employee engagement. Readers of this information will gain insight as to how to bring successful strategies relative to these topics into their organizations.
Beyond providing educational content to the MACA members, AgCareers.com looks forward to the opportunity to continue to build the partnership through additional strategies.
“Human resources are one of the most difficult issues that companies deal with,” stated Bonnie McCarvel, MACA Executive Director. “Providing information which can assist the employer in helping the new person succeed is invaluable to both parties as they both win – the new employee gets the job done and enjoys the work while the employer gets an employee who does right thing and learns the job. We think this relationship with AgCareers.com will provide MACA members with some additional information that this will find useful in their business.”
