AgCareers.com Launching Career and Education Center for World Ag Expo 2010

Tulare, Calif. – (AgPR) – AgCareers.com, the leading agriculture based career site, has teamed up with World Ag Expo to open the Hilvers Agricultural Career and Education Center. The new Career and Education Center is aimed at assisting the many job seekers who attend World Ag Expo 2010, find job placement.

Located in the Hilvers building on Media St., the Hilvers Career and Education Center presented by AgCareers.com is not exclusively for job seekers, but students as well. The Center will house several junior colleges and universities, including College of the Sequoias, UC Davis, CSU Fresno, Cal Poly SLO and Cal Poly Pomona.

 

Brandt explains that “The center will be a common place for universities to showcase their school. This will include hands-on workshops, interview space for employers, and an area for featuring or applying to current job postings.”

 

The 43rd annual World Ag Expo 2010, powering global agriculture, will run February 9–11 at the International Agri-Center show grounds in Tulare, Calif. An estimated 100,000 attendees from 67 countries are expected to attend World Ag Expo this year. The expo is the largest annual agricultural show of its kind with 1,600 exhibitors displaying cutting-edge agricultural technology and equipment on 2.6 million square feet of show grounds.
