The Role:
- Your role is to help UK dairy farmers unlock efficiency, optimise herd health and increase profitability through an insight-driven, consultative sales service.
- You'll build trust and credibility with farmers as well as developing a clear understanding of their business model. This will enable you to devise bespoke solutions that help drive dairy operations forwards.
- We are looking for Business Development Managers in multiple UK dairy regions to manage and grow a territory as if it were their own.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth within your territory through strategic business development.
- Build strong relationships with farmers, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Deliver consultative presentations showcasing livestock monitoring technology, backed by actionable data insights.
- Understand farming business models and tailor solutions that improve efficiency and sustainability.
- Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to ensure customer success.
- Stay ahead of precision farming trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
Your profile:
- While proven business development experience would be an advantage, the drive to develop a ledger is essential.
- Ability to adopt a consultative sales approach, using data to demonstrate ROI and long-term value.
- Practical background or demonstrable understanding of dairy herd performance.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across your territory.
