Job Description:

 

Play a central role in driving the continued growth of a forward-thinking UK wine business.

 

The client is already a successful wine producer out of their flagship, market-leading UK winery. They possess a clear philosophy and commitment to sustainable winemaking. 

 

Whether you have direct experience of the wine industry or have a logistics management background from a related sector (e.g. food, fresh produce, FMCG), this role will enable you to develop your skills and network throughout the wine business.

 

You'll also be a capable leader, with line management responsibility as the team expands further.

 

Key responsibilities:

- Updating, management and streamlining VinTrace Software

- Training winery team members on VinTrace Software

- Regular stock keeping of wine, dry goods and Enartis products

- Raising duty payments, generating reports and producing inbound/dispatch paperwork via internal system and HMRC portal

- Adminstrative tasks such as receiving phone calls, email communication and data input

- Line manager to Operations Assistant

- Other reasonable duties may be assigned

 

Your background:

- Prior experience in logistics or operations, ideally within a related industry

- Ability to influence and mentor others

- While winery software knowledge is desirable, experience of other inventory management packages would be relevant

 - Working knowledge of HMRC duty documentation is desirable

 - Strong communication skills across and beyond the business
